Full description

The Purpose:
To merchandise the sales floor area to the highest standards whilst working with the buying team to plan product displays to maximise sales.

The Role
  • To plan and develop merchandising strategies to hit launch dates and balance company’s objectives.
  • To analyse sales figures, customer reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges.
  • To maximise customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.
  • To produce layout plans and maintain store stock and inventory.
  • To monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes.
The Person
  • Previous experience in a similar position in merchandising.
  • Creative and imaginative.
  • To have a natural creative flair.
  • Previou analytical skills.
  • To have commercial awareness.
  • An eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
