We now have a unique and extremely exciting opportunity for an experienced coach to join us as our Under 23s (U23s) Head Coach within our Academy.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the planning and delivery of our tactical and technical coaching programme for the U23s team, with a focus on producing players capable of making the transition to first team football.
Reporting into ourHead of Academy Coaching, the U23s Head Coach will be responsible for the coaching and development of the U23s team, ensuring we deliver on our coaching philosophy and vision whilst reflecting and representing the values of the Academy and the Club.
Key responsibilities as part of this role include:

Coaching the U23s in League, friendly matches, tours and tournaments both home and away and abroad, as and when required

Communicate collaboratively with all key U23 personnel when planning and arranging coaching sessions to ensure the appropriate support is in place (e.g. sports science, medical, recruitment, education, etc.) and that the timetable fits with all other U23 activities

Evaluation of all coaching sessions and matches, ensuring the relevant information is recorded fully on the Club’s Performance Management System

Working closely with the Head of First Team Recruitment and Head of Academy Recruitment in respect of player acquisition
Who we are looking for: We are looking for someone who has an outstanding track record,has been in a similar role for a minimum of 3 years and is able to show a clear understanding of how to coach and develop youth and professional football players within an established Academy environment.

Membership of the FA Coaches Club

Emergency First Aid Certificate

Safeguarding Children Certificate

Satisfactory Enhanced DBS Disclosure
Our U23s Head Coach will play a pivotal role in ensuring we as a Club maintain our standard – Nil Satis Nisi Optimum.
