To provide world class travel management support to deliver optimal operations Club wide. 

Full description

The Role:
The successful candidate will work across all teams and departments at the Club with a high degree of focus on the below:
  • To lead on the Women’s team travel coordination, including the negotiation and contracting of team hotels.
  • To coordinate and manage the club wide travel operations for overseas based competitions and matches.
  • To create official travel documentation (itineraries / inspection agendas / match documentation set).
  • To plan and deliver site inspections for domestic and overseas competitions and matches.
  • To provide advice and support Club wide on all travel matters.
  • Responsible for logging all team and private jet travel movements on Travel Risk Management platforms.
  • Travel Department financial administration: including but not limited to PO creation, supplier set up and ensuring suppliers are paid in a timely manner.
  • To manage travel budgets.
  • Deputise in the absence of Head of Travel Operations / Strategy.
  • Expense management.
  • To support the Head of Travel Strategy and Head of Travel Operations in the preparation of any pre-season tours and mid-season training camps.
  • To support Head of Travel Operations with the coordination of first team logistics.
  • To support Head of Travel Operations for overseas competitions by managing the coordination of Club wide departments that support the men’s first team.
  • To collaborate with internal departments to ensure all first team passports and visas are valid.

Hours of Work
35 hours per week, based on a working week of Monday to Sunday. Additional hours and/or days may be required from time to time.

The Person:
  • Previous experience working in an operational role.
  • Previous experience in the travel or events industry.
  • Knowledge of business travel.
  • Knowledge of foreign languages, spoken and written (desirable).
  • Logical thinker with the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel (extensive travel domestically and internationally required).
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft office or similar packages.
  • Trustworthy with integrity; capable of being privy to extremely confidential information without disclosure.
  • Excellent attention to details and organisational skills.
  • The ability to make sound decisions in a timely manner and practical approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent personal qualities such as communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment, self-motivation and enthusiasm.
  • A willingness to work flexible hours in accordance with the demands of the role.
  • Full driving license
