To provide world class travel management support to deliver optimal operations Club wide.

Full description

The Role:
The successful candidate will support all areas of the travel department with a high degree of focus on the following:
  • To work with the Travel Manager on the planning and delivery of site inspections for domestic and overseas competitions and matches.
  • To support the Travel Manager on pre arrival hotel checks which may involve an element of domestic and international travel.
  • Responsible for the logging of all team and private jet travel movements on Travel Risk Management platform.
  • Travel Department financial administration: including but not limited to PO creation, supplier set up and ensuring suppliers are paid in a timely manner.
  • To support the Travel Department whilst staff members are out of office to ensure the high standards are maintained and continuity of the department is upheld.
  • Responsible for expense management.
  • To provide a high level of administrative support to the travel department.
  • To collaborate with internal departments to ensure all first team passports and visas are valid.
  • Booking of department travel requirements.
  • Passport renewal management.
  • Payroll reporting.
  • Team travel feedback management and collation.
Hours of Work
35 hours per week, based on a working week of Monday to Sunday. Additional hours and/or days may be required from time to time.

The Person:
  • Knowledge of business travel.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Willingness to travel if required (domestically and internationally).
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft office or similar packages.
  • Trustworthy with integrity; capable of being privy to extremely confidential information without disclosure.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong administrative skills.
  • Excellent personal qualities such as communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment, self-motivation and enthusiasm.
  • A willingness to work flexible hours in accordance with the demands of the role.
  • Previous experience working in an operational role within an elite sporting environment, travel or events industry – Desirable
  • Full driving license.
