As we approach the kick off of the 22/23 season, Sheffield United Football Club are looking for enthusiastic individuals to come and join our Ticketing Office team. The successful candidates should enjoy the challenge of working within a fast-paced environment, whilst recognising that high level customer service is paramount. As such, the Ticketing Assistant will place the customer experience at the heart of all they do, operating in a courteous and professional manner to build a great rapport with those who come to visit Bramall Lane.

We are looking for candidates who have the flexibility to cover all match day fixtures, as well as providing support in line with the operational needs of the Ticketing Office including weekdays.

As we approach the kick off of the 22/23 season, Sheffield United Football Club are looking for enthusiastic individuals to come and join our Ticketing Office team. The successful candidates should enjoy the challenge of working within a fast-paced environment, whilst recognising that high level customer service is paramount. As such, the Ticketing Assistant will place the customer experience at the heart of all they do, operating in a courteous and professional manner to build a great rapport with those who come to visit Bramall Lane.

We are looking for candidates who have the flexibility to cover all match day fixtures, as well as providing support in line with the operational needs of the Ticketing Office including weekdays.

Role Responsibilities:


  • To manually process online ticket orders.
  • Respond to box office email enquiries as and when necessary.
  • Respond to and allocate vouchers for charity event requests upon request.
  • Responsible for balancing daily takings and reconciling any ticketing issues.
  • Deal with enquiries and correspondence in a polite and effective manner.
  • Selling ticketing & other related products.
  • Reporting any complaints raised to the Ticket Office Supervisor, Ticketing Assistant Manager and / or Ticketing Manager.
  • General administration and other duties as required.
  • Any other reasonable request as directed by management.
  • To adhere to all Sheffield United Football Club’s Safeguarding Policies and Procedures to foster an environment which protects from harm those defined as children and adults at risk.
  • To report any concerns of a Safeguarding nature to the relevant parties and remain fully compliant with any applicable Safeguarding checks and due diligence and recognise your responsibility to the Club’s Safeguarding agenda.
  • To report any concerns of discrimination to the relevant parties and promote a welcoming and inclusive club environment for all.
  • To adhere to the Club’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policies, supporting the Club to create an environment which is inclusive and all-encompassing.

Essential Criteria:


  • Prior experience in a customer facing role.
  • IT skills.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent inter- personal skills and a confident communicator.
  • Good attendance and timekeeping.
  • Basic Math and English skills.

Desirable Criteria:


  • Working within a ticketing or shop environment.
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Customer Service.
  • Prior experience of using a ticketing system would be advantageous.
