Job Title – Sussex Coach
Location – Thomas Bennett Community College
Hours – 20 hours per week, Fixed Term Contract

About the Team:
Formed in 2010, the Chelsea Foundation is one of the world’s leading football social responsibility programmes. Using the power of sport to motivate, educate and inspire, we believe sport can be harnessed to support communities and individuals, both at home and abroad.
The Foundation brings together the Community, Education and International departments, along with the club’s wider charitable, CSR and community activities, and equality programmes.
On top of our outstanding football development projects, the Chelsea Foundation works on a broad range of initiatives focusing on employment, education, social deprivation, crime reduction, youth offending and much more.
What We’re Looking For:
A candidate to deliver safe, inclusive and high quality coaching sessions on a daily basis across the core programmes within the Foundation. These include, but not limited to all In-School and Out of School activities, Player development Programme activities, sessions at a post 16 football programme and the various activities delivered during the school holidays.
Must Haves/qualified by demonstratable experience to the level required:
• Over 18 years old.
• Have a minimum of the new FA Introduction to Football Coaching qualification (formerly the FA Level 1 in Coaching Football qualification).
• Valid First Aid and Safeguarding certificates.
• Clean driving licence or the willingness to travel to relevant location via public transport.
• Experience in community/grassroots sports as a participant or coach.
Nice to Haves:
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Aims to support and motivate team members.
• Attention to details.
• Experience within a sporting environment.
