We have an exciting opportunity for a Steward Coordinator to join us at our St James’ Park Stadium. This is a key role in our Venue Operations department, working as part of the Safety & Security team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the recruitment, induction and training of our stewards and for planning and managing steward resources on match and event days. Working closely with our Deputy Safety Officer you will need to have experience of resource planning and management at large scale events, ideally in a sporting environment.
Excellent communication skills are a must, along with the ability to use a variety of software systems. We’re looking for someone who is positive and proactive and has the high levels of energy, flexibility and resilience that our sport demands.
