Reporting to our Sport Development Manager, this role is an exciting opportunity for the right person to support us in delivering a variety of high quality sports sessions in both school and community settings across our community sport programmes, while also supporting with the day to day operations of these programmes.
Your key responsibilities will also include:
-Encourage and support young people to be engaged in sport
-Promote our programmes within the local community
-Ensure that equality and diversity is considered in all decision making
-Ensure that quality and safeguarding standards are achieved and maintained
-Provide timely reports and case studies
-Collect monitoring and evaluation data across our programmes
-Work closely with local and regional sports clubs, NGB`s and partner organisations
-Deliver social action sessions and workshops along with tournaments and events
-Support in the development of a talent ID pathway for young people
-Providing content for LFC Foundation across social media
What we`re looking for?
It`s essential for the successful candidate to be able to demonstrate experience with coaching, planning and delivering sports sessions to young people, and will need a recognised coaching qualification of Level 2 or above across a variety of sports.
The role will require the ability to project manage, and you will need to be able to organise tournaments and events, so we`d like to hear about any experiences you may have had in these areas. Additionally, it`s vital for the candidate to have knowledge of the sports sector, including sporting clubs and NGB`s to be successful in this role.
It would be desirable if you can demonstrate an ability in stakeholder management, and in designing sport-based curriculums. Additionally this role will require delivery of projects within agreed timescales and KPIs, so we`d like to hear about any professional experience you have with this in a sporting environment if you have this.

This is a full-time fixed term contract, for a period of 12 months, working 35 hours per week on a 5 days out of 7 per week.
