Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
Job Type: 1 year fix term contact (subject to yearly review)

With the development of our new facilities at the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre in Lancing nearing completion we are looking to add to our existing operational teams to ensure the day to day service delivery remains to the highest of standards at all times. We are looking for 2 professional, positive and self-motivated individuals to join our security team on the night shifts. You will hold a high level of integrity as well as being confident in challenging situations.
What does the day to day look like?
Your core hours of work will be 7pm – 7am/7am – 7pm and you’ll be working as part of a team on a four day on, four day off shift pattern. This is a very important role and you’ll be responsible for ensuring the security of the club facilities, their contents and environs at all times. You will be tasked with monitoring and controlling the access of those entering the stadium as well and monitoring the CCTV systems throughout the stadium, so you need to have strong skills in observing situations and making decisions.
What we need
Given the nature of the role, ideally the successful candidates will hold the following:
- Have or working towards a Level 2 recognised security qualification
- Have or working towards a Level 2 Door staff qualification, SIA (Security Industry Authority) license or similar
- Have or working towards a Level 2 CCTV qualification
The successful candidates will be competent and have experience of working in a similar role in a large multi-purpose building and excellent customer service skills. Previous security experience is ideal but not essential. The successful candidates must also be willing to undertake a basic DBS CRC (Criminal Background Check).
