Who are Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club?
Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club are proud that our elite teams compete at the highest level of football in England, those being the Premier League and the Women's Super League. Our home, the spectacular 32,000 capacity American Express Community Stadium hosts our Premier League journey whereas The People's Pension Stadium in Crawley, with a capacity of over 6,000, mainly hosts our Women's Super League journey. Our ambition is to be a top ten Premier League club and a top four Women's Super League club. A commitment to high performance and high professional standards is at the heart of everything we do.

The job
Brighton & Hove Albion FC are recruiting for an exceptional PA for our chief executive & deputy chairman. This is a fantastic opportunity for an accomplished PA with the drive and ambition to further their career within an elite, professional football environment.

What does the day to day look like?
You will work closely with our chief executive and deputy chairman providing a professional organisational and administrative support service, diary, travel, client and meeting management and project work. In time, the role will broaden to involve significant interaction with the wider board and support for club board meetings, as well as arranging and managing the stadium’s board room hospitality on matchdays. You will have extensive interaction with the club’s executive committee and the wider staff. The role also encompasses the general management of the stadium offices.

Your core hours will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, but we will require you to be flexible and committed to providing support, as and when required, outside of core hours. You will also be required to work all home matchdays as you will be managing the stadium’s board room where the club’s directors entertain guests.

What we need
The successful post-holder will first and foremost be an experienced PA with a minimum of 3 years' experience working for a senior executive within a professional sports environment. Whilst your experience may have been gained in a sporting environment other than football, an interest in and knowledge of football and the wider football industry is essential. You must be highly confidential, have excellent written and oral communication skills, have the ability to think on your feet, be pro-active and be prepared to juggle varying and demanding workloads.

Our values
Values play a pivotal role in the success of the Club. Our values aren’t just a list of words we expect our people to learn, but a set of filters through which we deliver to each other, our fans, our partners and our sponsors, in fact, with anyone who interacts in any way with us. Each year we hold the TEAM Brighton awards where peer to peer nominations are rewarded. Those with the most nominations take away awards for their commitment to the TEAM Brighton values.
Our values are:
  • Treat People Well
  • Exceed Expectations
  • Act with Integrity

What is in it for you?

  • A competitive salary
  • An inspiring working environment
  • 25 days' annual leave (plus bank holidays)
