We have an exciting opportunity for a Landscape Gardner/Grounds Person to join our Grounds team, based at Bodymoor Heath Training Ground. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the quality of their work, professional and skilled in their craft.

Department: Facilities and Estates

Hours of work: 40 Hours per week (Including Matchdays, Evenings & Weekends)

Salary: £22,000 - £26,000 per annum depending on experience

Location: Bodymoor Heath Training Ground

Closing Date: Tuesday 4 May 2021

Interview Date: W/c 17 May 2021

You will be working on a large prestige estate carrying out landscape gardening and grounds maintenance duties. You will be working ‘hands-on’ with a team to maintain a top-class horticultural environment.

You will have experience of, landscaping and planting, providing advice on costing. Spraying of chemicals, weed control, grass cutting, strimming, weeding, pruning and cutting working with hand tools and light machinery.

You will also be required to support with preparation and the maintenance of the training pitches to a high standard as required. Pedestrian mowing, line marking, divoting and all aspects of pitch repair and preparation working under the guidance of the Grounds Manager.
