IT Service Desk Analyst
Location: St Mary’s Stadium, Southampton with up to 40% home working as standard.
Hours: Full time, core hours 08:00-16:00 Mon-Fri, with flexible start/finish times if needed.
Due to the nature of the role, some weekend and evening work is required.

What will you be doing?
A fantastic opportunity in the field of sports and technology to join our growing IT department in the role of IT Service Desk Analyst. As the primary point of contact between end users (i.e., our staff) and the IT department, you will be responsible for accurately recording IT incidents and service requests that are raised on a daily basis, while recording, supporting and escalating requests as appropriate using our IT Service Management (ITSM) tool.
You will be the first point of contact for staff, press and guests to the Club, across all of our sites, both face to face and remotely to staff in Southampton, and Bath, supporting a wide range of business services across football, commercial and operations. You will have need to have a good level of knowledge of desktop services including MAC OS, IOS and Windows and the ability to assist with setting up a range of new devices and VOIP telephony to achieve the service provision of the Service Desk.

We are looking for a motivated and committed candidate who is energetic and enthusiastic and has excellent troubleshooting abilities along with customer service skills, of which you will have ideally demonstrated in a customer service-based role. You will need to be a quick learner with an ability to learn new technologies and applications with ease.
Candidates are expected to support match days on a rotation basis with the potential inclusion of supporting some larger events at evenings or weekends. A Full UK Driving Licence and access to personal transport will be required for this role.

- We are looking for candidates with high potential to be role models, who have a personal passion to be in the IT industry.
- Experience in a customer service role or similar.
- Abilities to learn new technologies and applications with an excellent rational approach towards troubleshooting.
- Good written and verbal communication. GCSE grades A-C/NUMBERS in English and Maths would be desirable.
- Experience of using computers and IT systems/programs.
- Certification in an IT or technical based course.
