The role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a create and innovative Head Chef at a pivotal time of transition and change for Burnley Football Club.

You will lead the food production at Burnley FC to provide excellent customer satisfaction for all customers including those who attend hospitality and matchdays.

Role expectations

Reporting to the Hospitality Operations Manager, the Head Chef will be expected to:

• Produce high quality food on matchdays and at other events with a focus on improving standards using creativity and keeping up with market trends.
• Ensure a five-star food hygiene standard is maintained at all times.
• To be able to work flexible hours where the role of the job requires.
• Promote the Burnley Football Club brand and ethos in a professional, strong and positive manner.
• Hold a commitment to equality and diversity in the workplace and a willingness to undertake all relevant equality and diversity training.

An ideal candidate will have;

Essential:

• Level 3 Food hygiene certificate.
• Exemplary culinary experience in a large-scale operation.
• Ability to produce large quantities of high-class hospitality meals in one session.
• Experience of planning menus.

Desirable:

• A positive attitude towards professional development and their own learning.

Applicants will need to have a flexible approach to work and be able to work evenings, weekends and match days as required.
