Foundation Sports Coach - Fixed Term Contract
The Liverpool Football Club Foundation is the official charity of Liverpool Football Club. We are currently looking to recruit two Sports Coaches to join the team on a fixed term contract.
Liverpool FC Foundation raises funds, develops partnerships, and delivers high impact programmes that engage young people through their passion for Liverpool Football Club and football, helping them to improve their health, skills, and life chances. We are proud of our work to date, engaging thousands of children, and young people each year, however we have ambitious plans for the future - our vision is to be the leading football foundation that transforms young people`s lives.
What will you be doing?
Within this role the successful candidate will deliver high quality sports and community settings, with your main responsibilities including:
-Delivering high-quality inclusive sessions in line with LFC Foundation and Premier League standards.
-Planning and preparing prior to each session to ensure careful considerations are made for all abilities and ages.
-Delivering bespoke interventions to individuals or cohorts.
-Developing and maintaining positive relationships with partners and participants.
-Supporting across all LFC projects, programmes and events where required.
-Ensuring session plans and risk assessments are completed to a high standard.
-Ensuring venue files are compliant on LFC Foundation digital portal.
-Ensuring correct equipment is available at all sessions.
-Providing mentoring and support to sessional coaches and volunteers.
-Ensuring LFC Foundation safeguarding polices, and processes are always adhered to.
-Ensuring effective collection of all monitoring and evaluation data.
-Recording data on LFC Foundation databases.
-Ensuring case studies and PR opportunities are regularly undertaken in line with Club and Foundation guidelines
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will hold qualifications in Multi Skills and/or The FA`s Football Coaching level 1 essential, Level 2 desirable qualification in addition to First Aid Training and awareness of Safeguarding principles. You will also have previous experience of creating sports curriculum and session plans.

The position is offered on a fixed term contract basis for approximately 12 months. Part-time, working 20 hours per week, on a 5 over 7 days basis, including some evenings and weekends.

Your main base will be our Anfield Sports Community Centre, Liverpool however there is a requirement to work from other locations across Merseyside.
