The Purpose:  

Manchester United is seeking a Football Finance Assistant on a 6-month FTC basis to provide bespoke financial analysis. The role will assist in process improvements and football finance data processing to support football finance team.

The Role:

  • To build and improve excel databases and automating pull-through of data between various schedules and sources.
  • In-depth data analysis, often after having built or improved excel databases.
  • Financial modelling.
  • Preparing materials to present complex financial data analysis and modelling.
  • Analysing financial statements and benchmarking.
  • Preparing excels and documents to support transaction processes.

The Person:

  • Ambitious graduate/college or further education leaver with a relevant degree
  • Data analysis skills
  • Microsoft Office Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant software.
  • Project management skills.
  • strong attention to detail is crucial for accurately recording and processing financial information.
  • Coding skills - Desirabe
