Job Title: Dual Career Academy & Regional Talent Club Sports Therapist

Hours: 35 hours per week
Job Type: One year fix term contract

The job
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the women’s and girls’ medical department at Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club. Are you passionate about working in football and would like to gain valuable experience working with elite and developing athletes?

What does the day to day look like?
Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club are looking an individual to provide medical support to predominantly our DCA players but also supporting the RTC and Senior team under the direction of the Women’s & Girls' Lead Physiotherapist, in line with the club’s strategic objectives and FA Tier 1 licence. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing appropriate medical services including the prevention and treatment of injury and ensuring that necessary medical support is provided at all RTC training sessions and matchdays.

What we need
The successful candidate must hold the following:
  • A BSc in Physiotherapy or Sports Therapy
  • A minimum of 1 years’ membership with the Society of Sports Therapy and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Be a registered member of the Society of Sports Therapy and have adequate indemnity insurance.
  • Valid FA Safeguarding Workshop Certificate

The successful candidate must also be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS CRC (Criminal Background Check).
