Our intern roles are designed to nurture and develop young talent, providing you with invaluable hands-on experience within real life projects, where you will have your own responsibility from week one! Over the course of two years, you will gain valuable experience within one of our business areas as well as exposure across the club to really understand our culture and club operation.


The Purpose:  

This paid placement offers experience working in a fast paced, exciting, and demanding department. While you’ll collaborate with the wider Brand Team including art directors, designers, motion graphics designers and campaign management, You will asset with the rollout of key creative campaigns across Club channels.

The Role:
  • Creation of bespoke artwork in line with the club’s creative identity
  • Create and present visual presentations that explain and deliver creative process and output
  • Collaborate with motion designers, art directors and creative directors to develop the visual language and identity
  • Deliver across varied projects, which maintains and implements effective communication.
  • Ensure all files are filed and recorded as per the department system
  • Ensure that the brand guidelines are followed for all assets
  • Ensure all work is reviewed and approved before presentation back to brief holder or any asset is supplied
  • Able to use the Adobe Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
The Person:
  • No previous experience necessary
  • Ambitious graduate/college or further education leaver with a relevant degree
  • A strong academic record supported by evidence of extra curriculum work.
  • Great time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with good attention to detail
  • Candidate should demonstrate pride and passion in working for Manchester United.
  • Excellent design skills, which include conceptual development, textures, typography and visual presentation.
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
  • Proven ability to apply design skills in new and innovative ways
  • Knowledge in new digital and innovative practices
  • Good work ethic
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of design within competitive and fast-moving sports market
