We are seeking a progressive videographer with broad multi-media skills and experience to contribute to the new communciations and marketing function at Nottingham Forest Football Club.

Reporting to the Head of Communications and Marketing, you will be based at The City Ground and your role will require extensive UK travel and flexibility around working hours

Key Tasks & Responsibilities


Videography Responsibilities

• Club lead on all videography and photography requirements

• Responsible for creating high quality, engaging video content across NFFC owned channels to actively engage fans: ideas, approval, film, edit, release

• Film regular content such as pre/in/post-match footage, player, manager and staff interviews and other ad-hoc content

• Create and drive new and innovative ideas for video content across digital channels

• Help develop Forest TV by developing and delivering new content ideas

• Lead on co-ordinating club photography requirements with third party agencies (current and archive) and act as in-house photographer when required

• Create and maintain a structured video and photography archive

Remit

• Primary responsibility is first team

• Scope and deliver Academy (primarily U23s and U18s) requirements for 2021-22 season, including match streaming

• Scope NFFC Women and Community Trust requirements for delivery

• Seamlessly cover for social media, media operations and other roles as required thereby delivering multi-media journalism (rather than videography in isolation)

• Work together with other members of new Comms & Marketing department to create positive and progressive culture

• Work closely with Commercial team to deliver partner rights and create new content opportunities

Required Skills

Role

• Exemplary, creative and engaging visual journalistic skills

• Multi-media experience including videography

• Advanced editing skills including Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop as a minimum

• Sound and lighting management

• Discretion and sensitivity in dealing with confidential and high profile matters

• Collaborative approach across immediate team and wider NFFC organisation

• Strong ownership and drive

• Positive and progressive attitude seeking continual improvement in self and others

• Personable manner that engages with broad range of internal and external stakeholders, e.g. players/manager, media, etc

• Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines

• Resilience to working long, irregular and unsociable hours

Preferred Experience

• Professional football club or sports media department (or regular interaction with such a department)

• Video production in fast-paced environment

• Multi-media journalism
