Casual Physiotherapist / Sports Therapist
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our club as a Physiotherapist / Sports Therapist with the Liverpool FC Women`s on a casual basis.
What will you be doing?
-Work in conjunction with the Lead Academy Physiotherapist for the provision of physiotherapy services associated with the U9 - U21 age groups
-Provision of pitch side cover at tournaments, friendly, and league fixtures
-Provision of pitch side cover at training sessions (evenings and weekends)
-Diagnose and establish treatment/ rehabilitation plans for nominated players
-Provision of treatment and rehabilitation services for injured players
-Liaise with key stakeholders regarding player availability and progress
-Take part in CPD and attend in-house CPD training
-Maintain contemporaneous medical notes to an excellent standard on the WPS (Women`s Performance System)
-Ensure high levels of professionalism and patient confidentiality
Who are we looking for?
To apply for this role, you will require a BSc Degree Physiotherapy / Sports Therapy and have registration with appropriate governing body (CSP / HCPC / STT). Due to the nature of this role, you should also hold the FA Level 2-3 Emergency First Aid in Football. For this role candidates must have the ability and willingness to work unsociable hours, including weekends.
Working in this role it is paramount you have excellent communication and organisational skills. We would particularly be interested in hearing from those who hold an FA Safeguarding Children Certificate and/or post-graduate experience of working in professional sport.

Your main base will be our Jericho Sports Hub. You may also work at other locations when required.
