Casual Coach RTC - Foundation Phase
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our Club as a casual coach working with the Liverpool FC Womens first team up to 10 hours per week.
What will you be doing?
This individual will be responsible for delivering the technical programme for the Girls Regional Talent Club, enhancing the development of girls within the programme. The role will take the lead in the preparation and development of players for the England Talent pathway and Women`s first team. The remit is to produce players for the England Talent pathway and Liverpool Women FC.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
Responsible for planning and delivering the technical and tactical coaching programme for your respective age group in line with the coaching syllabus.
To be responsible for your age group, keeping records of players progression and producing reports for both players, parents, other coaches through the Women`s Performance System (WPS)
Updating the FA Fulltime weekly
Work with the different phase coaches to enable a smooth transition for players to experience when going through the RTC pathway
Strengthen the Female Player Pathway with structured opportunities
To liaise with all key personnel when planning and arranging coaching sessions and matches to ensure the appropriate support is in place (e.g. sports science, medical, recruitment, education, etc.) and that the timetable fits with all other RTC activities.
To ensure that accurate monitoring of records for all activities are maintained and lead on the analysis of evaluation information for activities To maximise opportunities to raise awareness of the organisation`s activities.
To ensure that the safety of participants, volunteers and staff is always prioritised.
Perform other duties as required which are considered relevant to the post and to the objectives of the Liverpool Women FC
Who are we looking for?
Our ideal candidate will have experience in a professional youth football development setting. You will be able to maintain records, have good organisation and an ability to use systems such as the Women`s Performance System and FA Full-time. You will have knowledge of FA girls and Women`s Strategy and can have the following qualifications / accreditation: FA Level 2 Coaching Licence, FA Youth Award Level 2, Basic FA First Aid for Sport Qualification, FA Licence Coaches Club Member. We are also looking for someone who has the ability to develop good working relationships with staff and partners, has excellent communication skills and can work well within a team.
You will be working with other passionate professionals at the Womens team and will report into the Technical Director/Academy Manager.
