Casual Academy Match Day Co-Ordinator

Location: All training facilities

The Purpose:

  • To manage Academy match-day operations, for activities that are staged across all Academy sites.
  • To provide a excellent level of care and attention, to organise daily operations and to ensure high standards are consistently met.

The Role:

  • Ensure the smooth running of Academy matches and festivals across various venues.
  • Co-ordinate the team of operational staff to ensure an excellent experience is provided to site users.
  • Ensure that Away teams, staff, League/FA representatives and match officials are greeted on arrival and hosted in a manner befitting the MUFC Academy.
  • Ensure spectators (parental) (including visiting scouts) attendance is managed appropriately.
  • Ensure site checks are completed before the arrival of teams.
  • Ensure relevant risk assessments are adhered too.
  • Produce post-event reports.
  • Other ad-hoc responsibilities as requested.
  • Approximately 10 hours per week available (mainly weekend work).

The Person:

  • Experience of managing a team of people.
  • Experience in public facing event work, desirable.
  • IT proficient.
  • Safeguarding training / awareness.
  • Approachable, organised, and conscientious approach to work
