Buying & Merchandising Assistant
The Buying and Merchandising Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Buying and Merchandising Manager and Retail Director in executing the retail strategy, with particular focus on maximising sales through accurate record-keeping, analysis, planning, buying administration and the adequate availability of product across all categories in all retail channels (physical stores, shop.fulhamfc.com, and 3rd party online marketplaces).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
To assist and support the Buying and Merchandising Manager across all product categories, including providing administrative support as required.
To work closely with the Buying and Merchandising Manger across all product categories to develop a full understanding of the Merchandising and Buying functions.
Develop a deep understanding of the Buying calendar, criterial path and supplier quantity deadlines.
Support the Buying and Merchandising Manager with range reviews to build future product ranges.
Develop and understanding of the football leagues fonts and badge requirements.
Analysing sales reports and actioning plans directed by the Buying and Merchandising for best sellers, worst sellers, and negative stock levels.
Monitoring stock levels for online & stadium store, highlighting any imbalances and re-order requirements to the Buying and Merchandising Manager
Responsible for creation of product files on the stock management system (currently RSS).
Responsible for creating and amending all purchase orders, as directed by the Buying and Merchandising Manager
Responsible for providing suppliers with product barcodes and checking accuracy.
Responsible for assigning EAN barcodes to all products intended for sale via Amazon.
Track delivery of all stock and communicate any changes to Retail Team.
Liaise with the warehouse team regarding any stock queries and necessary purchase order amendments.
Responsible for sample requests and documentation of gold and green seals for sign off
Responsible for documenting, sending, and receiving samples for photography for the online store and Marketing campaigns
Action re-pricing and markdown changes.
Prepare weekly and ad hoc reports as required for circulation by the Buying and Merchandising Manager.
Develop an understanding of the analytics for the online store
Monitor and chase the deadlines on the Marketing Calendar to ensure timely delivery of digital assets to support in-store and online sales campaigns.
Visiting stadium store to develop continuous understanding of the impact of the Buying and Merchandising Assistant role on practical requirements in-store, and vice-versa.
