ACADEMY MANAGER IPSWICH TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB
Full-time, based at Playford Road Training Ground, with a requirement of National travel.
Ipswich Town Football Club are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who has worked within a leadership role in a professional Club at Academy level, for the role of Academy Manager.
This individual will be responsible for providing leadership to all areas of the Academy so that it is able to deliver well-rounded footballers into both the 1st Team at Ipswich Town & the professional game.
The Academy Manager will drive the vision of the academy through strategic planning, operational management and leadership of people.

Skills and Requirements:
Previous similar experience working in Senior role within an EPPP Academy and a detailed awareness of the EPPP is essential, as is the ability of working within a budget.
It is key to understand the requirements to play professional football, at all levels and have an ability to form a positive, trusting and supportive relationship with staff & elite young players
Additionally, experience is required of a fast-paced environment and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels with a variety of stakeholders.
The Club:
Following the acquisition of Ipswich Town in April 2021, there has been major investment throughout the Club under the new Management Team. The Club is at the start of an exciting journey to return Ipswich Town to its former glories, this role is a key appointment.
The Academy has a vital role to play in the mission and vision of the Club. It is expected that the Academy will increase the number of home-grown players who appear in the First Team on a regular and sustainable basis.
