We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional to join our innovative and forward-thinking Technology department here at Everton Football Club.

As a 1st Line Technical Support Analyst, you will assist the Infrastructure & Services Manager in ensuring the maintenance, support and proper functioning of the Club’s ICT systems during office hours and matchdays.

About the opportunity:We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional to join our innovative and forward-thinking Technology department here at Everton Football Club.

As a 1st Line Technical Support Analyst, you will assist the Infrastructure & Services Manager in ensuring the maintenance, support and proper functioning of the Club’s ICT systems during office hours and matchdays.

Other core responsibilities you will cover as part of this role include:

  • Receiving and logging support tickets
  • Responding to tickets via phone, email, or teams
  • Troubleshooting technical problems and resolving issues
  • Escalating issues to higher-level support or other teams when necessary
  • Providing technical assistance to staff, such as resetting passwords or configuring settings
  • Documenting tickets and maintaining accurate records
  • Following up with customers to ensure their issues have been resolved
  • Monitoring system alerts and responding to potential issues proactively
  • Performing basic system administration tasks, such as updating user accounts and access permissions
  • Providing product information and assistance to staff

This position provides exposure to a broad range of IT-related projects and activities across the Club.

Who we are looking for; Essentially, we are looking for an individual who has great communications skills that complement previous experience within an IT helpdesk environment.

Previous experience and knowledge of the blow are advantageous:

  • Microsoft operating systems Windows 10 / 11 / Server
  • networking fundamentals (switching/cabling/DHCP)
  • Microsoft Office 365 administration
  • Apple DEP
  • Intune/Endpoint Manager
  • Kandji MDM

This position is on a permanent basis and will be contracted to 35 hours per week.

The location for this role is based at our Finch Farm training ground with initial training and onboarding taking place within our Club’s iconic headquarters in the Royal Liver Building in Liverpool, we also offer the opportunity to work flexibly with our Hybrid working approach upon the successful completion of a probationary period.
