Job Title: Casual Neighbourhood Youth WorkerHours of Work: Casual hours are available over 48 weeks a year, with all sessions shutting for two weeks in August and two weeks over the Christmas period. Overall purpose of the Job: This role will involve working within the local community (predominantly under 18s) of Blackburn with Darwen to deliver youth engagement (and optionally sport) provision. The post holder will support a varied youth engagement timetable targeting a variety of ages between 8 and 19 (and up to 25 for those with SEND).
The role requires an individual with experience working in a youth club/community sport setting and a good understanding of children/young people in the borough.
